Has this Happened to you??

I have a nice Frog Spawn--standing on end it looks like a big "Y" with a nice head on each tip. Last night as i was feeding my corals i noticed one head was missing--and i thought it died. Today i found the missing head--it is alive and looking good and it takes food..its sitting on the coral bottom next to a rock. Has this happened to anyone?? I wonder --can it live like this??

It's called polyp bail. Some have lived like this but must end up in a situation or location that isn't favourable. For whatever reason, they didn't like where they were and was hoping the grass was greener on the other side.
