I have a white bubble tip and thinking about adding 2 Gold Stripe Maroon? What is your opinions and do I need 2 bubble tips so I can have one for each clown?
I have a 75 gallon with
a small yellow tang,
a small blue hippo,
a 6 line wrasse,
a cleaner fish,
a Engineer Goby
a Coral Banded Shrimp
horseshoe crab
Thanks Elaine

Welcome to SWF! What size is your BTA? Gold stripe maroons can be very "loving" to the anemone and can actually stress it to the point of dying so the anemone needs to be of some significant size. My female is 3" alone. I wouldn't think you'd need two of them. Eventually the female will let the male come into the anemone once they've established that she's the dominant of the two and he's ok with that. lol

Thanks for the welcome!
The BTA is probably 3 to 4". I would buy the clowns from saltwater fish and they are around 1".
Thanks for the help!

Just a FYI. A white BTA is not normal. Sounds bleached and a sign of health issues. Post a pic if you can and if it is bleached it is possible it can be turned around with some TLC. As stated above maroons are generally very rough with their anemone.
