Have I proven the internet sights wrong?

I have had a red mushroom coral and some type of zoos for 14 days (2 weeks) now and they are under only 22 watts florecint of lighting. And they both look very healthy.
So have I proven these internet sights wrong?

Absolutely agreed. You may be able to keep these with just flourescent lights (I really don't know), but you cannot measure any type of success in this hobby with anything less than a year or more, IMO. If you keep these things alive for 3 months then they mysteriously die, your experiment has failed.

Over a period of time the corals will lose their symbiotic zooxanthelle. Zooanthelle simply can't survive for very long without the proper lighting conditions, just as we humans have a defined, basic set of needs in order to survive, same is true for the zooanthelle and corals.
Once the corals have turned tan or shades of brown and lost all color, you will have proved a point, might not be the point you were trying to make though.

I try never to count chickens before they hatch, can end up in a mess. Agree, that they are lower light animals, and tell us how they are doing six mo. to a yr from now. I'm not trying to be rude at all, I hope they do good and multiply for you. Good luck
