Haven't been on much

Hey all! I've been MIA for a little bit. Husband came home (WOO HOO!) and now I'm sick with a sinus infection. Went into the dr's office today and I'm on antibiotics. While I was there, she listened to my heart (I have a heart condition called SVT) and my heart isn't beating regularly (skipping beats then speeding up and slowing down) so she called my OB to discuss it. Looks like I get to be the proud (yay..... :( ) owner of a heart monitor for a while. Then possibly going to a cardiologist. Thought I'd give an update.
The baby is doing well. Kicking like crazy at night. Husband falls asleep with his hand on my tummy every night. Ultrasound is in 2 weeks!!!!!

we have all had the dreaded crapola that turns into the even more dreaded sinus infection.....blah
They are just now finding this heart condition out??? I would think after your previous children and dr. visits someone would have picked that up. Hopefully it won't cause problems with delivery..!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! He loves her so much. She's become a permanent fixture on the couch between the two of us when we watch tv.
Right now she's laying next to me in bed.
And the answer to the SVT, they knew I had it. It's on all of my medical charts. I've been diagnosed with SVT since 2005. What my heart is doing is contradicting to what I've been diagnosed with so that's why I'm getting on a portable heart monitor. They want to see what it's doing over a longer term to get a definitive answer as to what my heart is really doing. Heart conditions and attacks run in my family on both sides heavily.

I now have been referred to a cardiologist by my pcp. Waiting on them to call me for my appointment. I'll be wearing my heart monitor for a month and then go from there.
Oh! And this baby is kicking like no other! I've felt he or she rolling around all day. Right now the baby is kicking nonstop.
I love that feeling.

oh I loved the kicking...especially in the middle of the night and I could put my belly on my SLEEPING husbands back..just so he could feel it to.
My first baby had hiccups A LOT! I didn't like that too much.
Towards the end I loved it when an elbow or knee or foot would poke out. We out try to figure out what it was.

Yeah. I tend to cuddle next to my husband and he would get kicked when I was pregnant with my daughter. He would tell me the next morning "Geez! That baby kicked me all night long and I didn't get any sleep!"
I'm sorry but I slept just fine.
It's always fun to see what appendages you can make out later on. My husband thinks I'm goofy for sitting up at night feeling the baby move and watching it when I'm further along. I just find it amazing that something that started out as chromosomes coming together can grow and move and thrive. It's really a beautiful and blessed experience that I wouldn't trade for anything.
