Having a hard time getting Calcium up

My calcium level is about 380 ppm and I am trying to get it up to 420. I am using Kawassa (sp) and RO water. I mix one gallon at a time with 2 teaspoons of kawassa and let sit for 24 hours. Then carefully drip the clear solution into refugium. After 3 gallons, there has been little change in Ca level. Am I doing something wrong?

Name all the corals in your tank. You could just be adding the calcium to slowly. You might need to just do a dose directly to the tank. Do you turn your skimmer off when you add? If you have a powerful skimmer it could be sucked right out before it circulates at all. I added half a frikin bottle of liquid calcium to my 20 just to get it up there and it has come down again. I'm guessing my corals use it that quick.... I have mainly sps and lps and judging by how much the monti digi and seriatopora have grown, not to mention the coralline everywhere.... If you ahve the same then need LOTS of calcium.

Kalkwasser really isn't used to raise the Ca level, Its used more to maintain it. I would try some other type of buffer if you feel you need to raise your ca level.
BTW, your 380 is fine

Calcuim is about 360 (pamphlet says should be about 400 to 425) Alk is normal by the Red Sea test kit (does not give any numbers as far as measurement. All other parameters (nitrates, ammonia, and nitrites are zero).
