having trouble using the alk test with salfert

im having trouble figuring out how to use this test kit. my ph and cal are on point at 430 and 8.2 but i still would like to no how to use this kit. and how would i be able to figure out if it is right or wrong because i have read that some of them are faulty...

Draw 4 ml of tank water in the fat srynge then drop into test vial...Add 2 drops of the little blue bottle to test vial....then take the little plastic tip and put on skinny srynge and draw 1 ml of fluid from the larger bottle that came with test kit..add 1-2 drops at a time to test vial and swirl after each 1-2 drops until the colour changes to pink......tip skinny srynge to where it is pointing up, take your reading, then compare to chart that came with kit
