Hawaiian Strawberry Crab

Has anyone had any experience with one of these in their reef? Any special comments or needs for this animal?

I have one but it's always hiding. I can usually see him at night.

Reef_Magic: Did that person specify what types of corals it snacked on? Other than that point, I can't find one negative thing about them.

I haven't seen mine picking at anything. He's usually eating algae off the rocks. The only thing i don't like about them is thay are bigger than most crabs i have. I would recommand the Pom Pom crab. They are my favorite crabs.

I loved mine but I didn't have a reef tank so I can't answer the question. Never caused any problems with the fish or shrimps I had.

I have one, and he is beautiful, but I rarely see him. So far he hasn't snacked on my corals.

I have 3 of them in my 125 reef and they do not harm anything. They like to hide most of the day but come out in the evening and walk around. I love mine!

I was in houston about 4 times back in December. I was very lost. My town only has 250,000 people, so it was like the beverly hillbillys trying to find their way around Southern California.
