Heater in the JBJ?

I am about to recieve the 12 gallon JBJ Nano cube and i've heard a lot of the stories about the water temp. getting really hot. I am planning on having my tank in the basement where the avg. temp is about 65 in the winter and 75-80 in the summer. Should i even buy a heater? If so just a very small one?

I'd say yes on the heater. You can get something small like a 50w and play around with it until you find a temp that suits your tank. The Stealth heaters seem to be pretty reliable for me.

Yea i was gonna plan on gettin a smaller one since i've heard about all the stories about people NEEDING a chiller. It's a lot easier on my back pocket when you need the smaller heater
