Heater placement in AP, Current Nano tank

For those that use a heater in their Aquapod or JBJ Nano tank.
Where are you placing your heater.
In or outside the chamber???

I have a 24g AP and I use a 50W stealth heater in the 2nd chamber with the pump.
It seems to regulate the temp better there than when I put it on the tank side.

12 gallon NC, Heater in the chamber with the return pump.
With the amount of water flowing past the heater there, its always going to give you a 'better' heating profile than inside the tank.

I have a 24gal ap as well and mine is in the second chanber with the pump... Works out GREAT!!

What type of heater (submersible) did you use and how did you install it? I recently set up a 12G nano too and seem to have water temp issues during the nite-can't figure out how to place it in the return pump chamber! Thanks!
