Heater Question?

I have always had my tank heater in the middle of the thank. I want to move it now. My question is, will it perform just as good as on either side? Its a 55 gallon tank with an average size heater for that size.

Doesnt matter where you put it. Some people dont like to see it and put it down below in there sumps. I have mine in the left corner out of sight.
