What kind of heaters does everyone use in their horse tanks?

I've been just using a cheapo heater placed in one of my filters, rated for 15 gallons (it's summer here, and very warm). Another one of those will be placed in my other filter when the weather cools. My tank is 37 gallons, I think that having 2 heaters rated for 15 gallons each will give me enough warning if one or the other goes out (temperature-wise) and that I need to replace it.
