Heater

Good morning all;
I bought a wet dry sump for my 90 gal FOWLR over the weekend and I like it a lot. I wanted to put my heater in the sump but it's to long to completely submerge. Should I look at getting another heater? Does the entire heater have to be submerged?
I just like the idea of taking everything possible out of the DT.
thanks

Can you just turn it sideways or diaginal?
No I tried. Just isn't gonna fit. It's 15" long and the sump return area is 12" x 12" making even the diagonal about 1/2" to tight.
I don't mind getting another one so much since it's probably a good idea to have a spare anyway, but I don't want to get one that won't be adequate to the job.

I understand - I wouldn't have part of the heater out of the water though, unless the manual says to do so. Just buy two or three smaller heaters that equate to the same wattage. I think that would be a safer setup anyways incase one fails while you are out of town.
