I need to get a new heater and would like to know from the following 3 which one you would choose for a reliable good heater??
Aqua Clear
Eheim Jager
Visi-Therm

Does it have a light to show that its on?? How do you like this heater??
Many recommend the Eheim Jager and yet I have read some thoughts about how bad they have been latley.

I personally like the stealth heaters

IMO I like the titanium heaters with the t'stat by or part of the plug. Very accurate & you don't have to get into the tank to adjust (when necessary).

I have two jagers and they have been fine. Just don't go off the temp setting. Set it and check your water, in my experience the setting and the actual water temp vary up to 8 degrees.
Example: I keep my tanks at about 80 and they are set at about 73-74 on the dial setting.
