Maybe a response here? Clown in with 2 damsels: Yellowtail and Clown(false Percula) are buddies, the Convict is the boss of the tank. Noticed yesterday that the Clown is breathing rapidly and kind of heavy; this just started. Damsels are not affected. Water is 0-0-0-8.2pH. Clown is 1 week into tank. Also, the waste from him is thin stringy white, and the Damsels' have always been thick reddish-orange. I know this should have been posted in Dis.& Treat., but I didn't see anything there to help with this. Can you all help? Thanks in advance!

As per lfs advice, I lowered tank temp from 79 deg. to 76 degrees for the Clown Perc's comfort. As per above, water is okay, have had Clown for one week. They said o2 was more saturated in lower temp with the salinity of 1.021, which my (their) tank is at. Uhm, 4 small Blue Leg Hermits, and a Condi Anemone. The Clown swims facing the cuurent at the bottom of the tank, and rarely rises above 3". That's about all of the info I can think of, I hope that aids in your diagnosis. Also, he isn't really eating; I give them Tetra-Min and frozen Brine Shrimp alternately every day.
