heavy breathing

One of my triggers is acting strange. (clown)
He lies on his side & is breathing heavy constantly. THe temp of the tank is 78 deg, and
all levels test 0..He wedges himself into the rocks often.
I am unsure of what this is. I was thinking lymphocystis, but I am unsure... No visible signs of infection.. New to the tank last week.. been eating ever since I got him.
Added 40 drops of 'quick cure' and turned off the lights.
Any suggestions? opinions ?

Ohh forgot to add:
I aclimated the fish for about one hour. Floated the bag.. added about 1/2 cup every 10 mins.. Did I screw up?
All the rest of my fish in all my tanks survived ?
Was there something special that I should have done with the clown trigger ?
Thanks for the help,

I have had the same problem. Fish breathing heavy and swimming up side down. No signs of disease. I think it is my ph levels. I'm new to this too and i have other things in my tank, things that can take the higher ph levels. Shrimp, snails, crabs and star fish. Check yours again and make sure you do it right. My test kit only shows so much so I think mine might be high. Just an idea. I'm going to get a ph stabilizer and try that. Good luck.
