ok, i've been browsing these forums for a while and i've got something to say. if i get booted off of here, oh well.
from an outsider coming insider, i'd have to say that this website has a big stick up it's bum... I've been watching it, and there seems to be a lot of 'editing' of threads and whatnot because some things might be taken as rude or offensive. look, if people get offended because of a post, it's their fault! the only reason someone is 'offended' is because they purposely took what someone else said to heart. Being offended about anthing is so stupid! why would someone waste their time???
now, i've read recently a post that says something along the lines that leaders (can't remember what they're called) only come here in their spare time and that they have 2 other jobs and classes and blah blah blah... and that they can't take the time to do certain things on here... my take on that is that if you can't take the time to properly maintain the board, give up your position to someone who can! don't blame your laziness and inability on keeping up the boards on something else!!! i'm not sure what exactly happened it that thread, and it did look like the person's comment was kinda rude. so i'm not taking sides here, but this board needs to loosen up a little bit and only delete things when they get out of control, not when they simply don't like a post!!!

well i agree that people who get offended are lame in general. why a computer screen can mess up someone's day is beyond me.
on the flip side though, the site is primarily a business. discussion boards are just a feature that hopefully encourages repeat business. however, if someone gets whiney and decides to leave the site permanently then- from a business standpoint- the board, thread, or post is actually hurting what it was initially intending to help.

hmmm.....then again it IS pretty funny to watch sensative people get upset over trivial things. perhaps the owners of this site could take this into consideration. if i, and people like me, are entertained by people's hurt feelings then WE will be encouraged to stick around and therefore continue to buy future products.

Posting under multiple log in names is a sure way to get yourself banned.
Want to see? There is that little computer in the top side of the post, and if you put it over the posts for these two people, you will see the IP address is the same.
Please understand that people, perhaps not yourself, but other people are "human" and may make judgement calls or, yes, or EVEN MISTAKES.
If you do not care for this, please move on. I think you will find that we do a pretty good job keeping things running, and are dedicated to it. That was the point of my comments. That we come, even when there are lots of other things going on...because we are DEDICATED TO SWF and do our very best.
But coming under multiple names does not help your cause. Not at all. I understood your point previously, and hoped you did too, but oh well.
