Hellolights VFO

I was thinking of getting hellolights 46.5 vho retro kit. Is there anybody out there who got this kit and wish they went with Ice cap insted? Also how hot does there ballast get? Thanks

i had this kit but traded it for a mh setup. i was pleased with it, lots of light. but i like the mh shimmer better
as far as the ballast goes, it doesnt get hot at all. i was pleased with this kit and would recommend it. hth.

I have seen you post alot about getting cheaper ballasts for prople. While nothing wrong with giving someone a deal on some used stuff you have, but it is against the rules of this board if you are a store or an outlet selling these on here for a profit.

I got the hello lights 46.5" 440 watts kit back in Feb. and I just love it. The ballast does not get hot and my tank looks terrific - not to mention the really cool purple-blue glow that surrounds my house now good luck!
