i just got a green bta last week sometime and it has split already and its doing amazing and i think it is looking like it wants to split again
will the two pieces fight, will i have to get rid of one or will they be fine together
I have read that anenomes split when under stress as well as when reproducing.I have little experience with them though. But if he's healthy you should'nt have nothing to worry about.
The two anenomes will be fine right next to each other. When a bta splits it basically makes an exact genetic copy of itself. I had one that split and the two practically overlap.
i'd check the parameters, they do often split under stress, and i don't really think it wants to reproduce after being added to a tank a week ago, but hey, for all i know it just wants to reproduce, can't really tell...
