Help A Sscrew Fell Into My Tank!

A SCCREW FELL INTO MY TANK!! idk where it is, i put my hands in the sand bed and could not find it. is this going to be harmful to my tank?

i searched the whole sandbed and i could not find it. i have maybe a 2 inch sand bed..i really do not know what to do i am freaking out thinking something is goign to go bad!?

Any time mtal goes in the tank is not good. But a

[hr]
if it has not been in there long you will be ok. Like I said a korilla has a rubber coated magnet that is pretty strong.

the sscrew fell off my light fixture, there are 3 more. i took another one off the light fixture and placed it to the koralia magnet and it didnt pick it up..what else can ido

Well if it didnt stick to the magnet then it is true stanless steal. So dont panic but keep looking try not to stur up the sand bed or you will bury it. Then you will never find it.

Relax If it is stainless it is not going to rust. If it dose it wont be for a while just keep looking. I would hate to see you pull the sand out you might have to. But I would not get to extreme just yet

get a cat pooper scooper and go over the sand. I use mine for getting those tiny rocks off the top of my sand.

+1 on not worrying about it. It is not copper or anything so you will be fine. And yes stainless will rust but true stainless will take a long time and do it very long period of time. So just keep up on water changes and you good

Wait a minute, isn't rust merely ferric oxide??? Then I wouldn't belive to be harmful at ALL because aren't certain filter medias primarily composed of ferric oxide anyway? That's what I thought...
