heres the prob i have a 30g thats cracked and has a leak. i pulled out a 75 i had transferd about 50-60lbs of live rock and made new water temps up and it has a kor 3 and a mag hob canister. been running now since tuesday. i have a sand bed prob 20lbs of lr in the leak tank with my clown and star fish and crabs and snails and urchin.this tank have been up for 3+ years its leaking 5-6 inchs of h2o per day. this is my plan replace 25 gals of the new water in the 75 with old water from the 30. transer the sand and the rest of the live rock and hope for the best. not a new cycle. any better ideas anyone think this will work yes or no. let me know

Probably the best option is to put ALL livestock and water into the 75....keep an eye on the ammonia levels and dose with ammo lock if needed. If an ammonia spike is noticed then do daily water changes. As long as your rock and water is cycled you should be ok. I moved my 90 gal. tank 2200 miles and was only able to keep about 35 gallons of water and it was ok.
