help appreciated on powerhead location..

i just unpacked my two powerheads from an online supplier,but only found 1 hagen 402 due to out of stock circumstances---my dilemma--where should i place this one at??i have a 46 gallon bow with about 25 lbs of live rock and an emperor 400 filter--should it go at the top and if so,are these things fully submersible??all help appreciated <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

I suppose if I only had one powerhead, I would try and position it so that it pulled some water up from the middle to lower portion of the tank and point the outlet flow towards the surface, causing the water surface in the tank to "ripple". I would mount it on the back wall, midway between the length of the back wall, down some, but certainly pointing the water flow UP.
Don't know if what wall you mount it on is all that important, but try and get it to move as much water in your tank towards the surface.
work it man work it - work that one pump for all it's worth :p
