i just looked at my blue hippo tang and he has some white spots on him. Im not sure if its ich. What sould i do? ASAP!

by the way, this is the 40 gallon they are in until the 125 gets set up.

What would really help is a picture of the hippo! :thinking: If you can't get that up, then describe the problem in detail. Look at the POST at the top of the forum that gives advise on how to post in this forum. Need info to try and help out.

Oh, that pic came up as I posted the other comment. Can't really tell. Either get a close up, or give us more details.

My filter has bubbles comming out of it> About the same size of the spots on the tang. Could the bubbles be sticking to him?

Tomato clown- 1-2''
coc. star- 1''
Aneomone- 5'' long and wide
turbo snail- 1/2'' just added-
15 lbs of fiji rock
20-25 of flordia
Cascade 300 and a cascade 80
power sweep power head
The tank has been up for 17 weeks and i got the fish on the 9th week or so. They have been fine until the blue hippo tang got spots. I just cleaned the tank a few days ago when i added 7 lbs more of fiji rock.

i found out its not bubbles.. what do i do? Can i qt them in a 10 gallon tank b/c they are all small? How long does it has to be set up in order to put fish in it?

Are the spots only along the black line of the hippo? Do you have a magnifying glass? If so, please look at the spots and see if you can discern if the spots are raised dots, or if they are really just pits on the skin?

All my fish have it bad now.. I just put the stuff in the water so it sould start to get beter in the next 5 days it says, I put 70 drops in for 3 days.

Well, I guess we can "hope" for the best, but expect the worse. The only 2 viable treatments are hyposalinity and copper. While we are waiting around for that medication to "work", will you think about setting up a QT?
Also, Can I have that pic of your tang? I may want to use it as an example later on.
