My blue jaw decided to jump out of the tank when some rock worked fell on the sand bed. This happened last Sat so 8 days ago. I happened to walk in the house and see him on the floor. He could have been there for up to 15 minutes. He ended up living and has been fine since today. 8 days later....He is swimming sideways and is fighting it :( I just fed all the fish and he swam right up to the top and was eating. What could be wrong with him. I want to try to cure him before doesn't make it. I cant find anything online to help me.Thank you

He could have an infection from the experience, however, without a cycled hospital tank you can't really treat him. Does he have injury?

I don't notice any injuries. He looks fine from the outside and has acted fine until today. Like I said he ate today I'm just worried about him now since he's fighting it when his body leans sideways

How are the water conditions in your tank? Try using selcon or zoecon with food. How often and what are you feeding your fish?
