Just brought a little BTA (approx. 1") home from the LFS. Drip and temp acclimated and placed in a likely spot which I was prepared from him to hate anyway....looked like he was doing fine, peppermint shrimp checked him out, still OK... I went to the bathroom where I was rinsing the glass cover, come back he's not there.
Can't find him anywhere :notsure:

He's not in the overflow, not in the sump (as far as I can tell). Rockwork too complicated to move around to look, but lots of hidey-holes available.
Do they often just disappear? How fast can they move? Will he likely come back out, if he's hiding?

I love my tank, but sometimes this stuff drives me crazy.

First anemonie (duh), any help would be appreciated. :help:

Mine hid for about 2 weeks as well.

All of mine moved around for the first couple of weeks to a month. If you can find him he is probably hidden, like everyone said. So keep looking and give it some time.
