Help- calcium Reactor setup

This is my first time setting up a calcium reactor. I recently purchased a calcium reactor off of ---- and the instructions that i recieved are HORRIBLE.

That is a link to the calcium, any help would be greatly appreciated on how to set this up. What is the secure valve for and the drop counter? Where do i plug my Co2 in to? Like i said i have no clue how to work this thing and the instructions were horrible.

Ok Im not really sure if i set this up right, at the end of the secure valve is the line that goes to the C02 tank. The whole unit is submersable so i just stuck it in the sump. Now is there suppose to be any water in the drop counter? As of now there is nothing in it.. Now i turned the unit on but it seems like no water is circulating through it, in other words there is nothing coming out the outlet on top..
Also how do you know when your C02 going in is at the right level?

No its made in germany, so im not really sure lol.

I really think im going to need a pump to push water into it, i dont think the pump on it seems like its sucking any water in when its submerged
