Help! Chocolate chip is in overflow box

So I was cleaning my grate in my overflow box and forgot to put it back in. The chocolate chip apparently went down and back up where it currently sits. It's in the top middle part of my overflow box. Any suggestions about how to get it out without hurting it? It seems fine but it's not to cool to have a hand sized sea star in your overflow box.

put a chunk of clam in one side to bait it out and wait. and wait and wait some more. (with the flow off)
