HELP! Cloudy water without a cause?

I have a 14 gallon Biocube tank which is presently lacking both fish and corals, as I haven't had any time to go to my LFS. This morning, I noticed the water was really cloudy and added a commercial product called "Crystal Clear" to it before I left for school (this product is two drops per gallon and claims to remove cloudiness). When I got back, the problem wasn't any better! I just ran some tests, and here are the results:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 0
pH: 8.1
It's at about 1.024 for salinity, and has 22lbs live sand and 13lbs live rock. My invertebrates are all fine. Other than running tests, I replaced the filter cartridge and rinsed the sponge in the third chamber out. My filtration is the standard one that comes with the Biocube and does not have any modifications.
If anyone could help me with this problem, it would be great.

Was your tank clear before this? Do you have any algae in the tank?
Run some extra carbon in the tank for now and it will help to clear the water.

I haven't been dosing for anything. The tank was crystal clear last night before I went to bed... this probably happened in the span of 6-7 hours. The calcium is at 410ppm.

The water looks like there is a slight whitish film in it. It's not spectacularly cloudy, but my water is usually perfectly clear so it seems like a big difference in appearance to me.

I experienced a similar cloudiness, it came one day out of nowhere and the next day it was gone. I dont know what it was, but I kept asking my girlfriend, is it just me or is the water cloudy today? I thought my eyes were playing a trick on me.

The tank contains one emerald crab, two small turbo snails, and a reef hermit crab. I'm in the process of restocking. =0
I thought that my highly active emerald crab might have stirred the sand up, but the problem has persisted for a full eighteen hours now so I doubt it's that. I'll do some water changes and see if they help. I've also got extra carbon in there. Thanks for the help, guys. =]
