I have a blue damsel that appears to be dying. He is hanging out at the top of the tank and appears to be turning brown. Should I remove him? Could he possibly have something that could spread to the other fish? I have no idea whats going on.

How big is your tank? Why dont you quarantine the fish in hopes of saving his life and not just letting him die there. Just an idea.

I don't care for damsels, but what does the cost have to do with anything :notsure: Its still a living creature.

If the damsel is sick, then the other could already have whatever.
Test your water now.
What are your test results? Am, nitrites, nitrates, ph, cal, alk, temp, sg?
How big's the tank? how long set up? how long as the damsel been in the tank? what else is in the tank? is anyone picking on him?
We need more info before we can help you.
