I have a 4 month old aquarium that I cant keep clowns alive in. After a couple of days-weeks they just start turning really white or pale at night and end up dying later on.....
The only thing I could keep alive was a couple of yellow tail damsels which I ended up getting rid of.
In the tank I also have a chocolate chip starfish, coral banded shrimp, a few zoanthids and a seabe anemone(I know now that I shouldent have gotten an anemone with such a young tank but I didn't read up on it first) but all of those are doing fine
PH 8.0
ammonia -0
nitrate-0
temp-79
salinity-1.025

I put the bags in the water for like 15 minutes and then put some of my water in and took some of the bag water out and kept putting mine in and taking bag water out for over the course of an hour

Do you run carbon on your tank? Also, I find it odd that your nitrates are 0. You should have some by this point. What is your source water? RO/DI, distilled, etc.??

I realize you don't plop them, but drip acclimation is easy and cheap just go to the dollar store get a bucket and some tubing and if you can't find tubing there go to any pet store trust me at the maximum price range it would still only be $5 or less.
