Ok, BIIIIG problem with my porcupine puffer....he looks BAAAAAAAD...he has been sick since saturday...i have NO IDEA what it is...I planned on bringing the little guy to my lfs on monday to be put in a hospital tank to be treated for whatever it is..but today he looks even worse....this is mine and my girlfriends favorite fish, what is wrong with him? and is it fatal? and will he last through the night???
I shot this pic at 1600x1200 to give a better picture...the top of him seems to be eroding away and becoming big white blotches...and his eyes are completely clouded over...and on top of it i think he may have ich... :(
Someone help me out here..

No, i dont quarantine new fish, this guy has been in the tank for 2 months now with no problems...Umm do you think he will last through the night? I've got a 10 gallon tank right now I could put him in and lower the salinity....but i wouldn't be able to get any medication until tomorrow....being 8:22PM on a sunday evening, not too many fish stores are open...

thanks for the suggestions terry but unfortunately....it was too late...I just went to check on him and he is dead.

I've been considering putting a UV sterilizer on my tank. It is a reef, well soon to be when my 400 watt halides arrive. Do you think it would be a good idea? I know it's not a cure-all but I have heard that people who do have them do not experience any algae and disease in their tanks...What's your opinion on them.
I do plan on setting up my 10 gallon tank, and will be quarantining all new fish from now on. I will also pick up furacyn to have on hand in case I get something similar again.
