Maroon clowns are aggressive and territorial and like IBEW said unless you have a large tank or a mated pair they should be the only clown in your tank. Maroons also grow big 5+ inches.

My female is 4" and had her about 3yrs , about a year and a half ago a got another one much smaller(about 2")- they fought for about a week . Then the fighting stopped and they are together all the time now. They"re in a 55 gal and i have 2 false perculas in a 30 gal. I bought 3 but they were fighting so a few members on this site told me to keep the biggest one and the smallest one and take the other one back to lfs. Thats what i did and no more fights.... just my 2 cents-hope it helps
