Help,high nitrites in HT

As some of you may remember, two weeks ago i had a case of ick in my main tank and removed all fish to a HT and treated with hyposalinity. A few days later, i became quite ill and was unable to tend to my tanks. Now,(nine days later) i am able to tend to them once more. I tested water perams in the HT and the nitrites were high, so i guess the tank went into a cycle. Now what do i do? So far i did two 50% water changes today and levels are still high. I also cleaned filter pads and filter. Is there anything else i can do? I only have a false perc and a algae blennie left in there, i lost my coral beauty in the prossess. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Reduce feeding. Continue water changes. Add carbon filtration, if you haven't already. Skimmer.
