help hurry kinda!

hey everyone sorry to bother you but me and my buddiejust picked up and tiny little blue hipo tank for hsi 125 and he is aclimating as we speak been about and hour! but hes just chillin on his side is this normal or should we bring him back to the LFS? he hads about and hour or 2 to go on the aclimation soo i dont know? i have a nano and cant get one or have ever seen one aclimate is this the norm b/c stress?
please help thank you everyone!

I am pretty sure this is normal for hippos, also when they go in the tank they wedge themselves in between rocks. But once they get used to their surroundings they come out and swim around.

ok thanks! i ll rember the wedgeing in rocks so we dont freak and think hes dead! lol

make sure your lights are off that will help reduce stress on the fish.

This is normal, Hippo Tangs are known to "play dead".

well hes in there and hiding in the rock going by after work to see the guy ! hopefully he will be swimming around! how long do they usally do this once in the tank?

update he is doing awsome swimming around and just fine!! dosent like people that much runs and hides when he sees us!
