Help, I can't cure stringy poo

Well, I posted about 3 weeks ago about 2 false percs with white stringy poo, and was told it was either internal parasite, or internal bacteria. I treated (in quarantine) with pipzine for internal parasites for 5 treatments, still stringy poo. Then I treated with maracyn 2 (saltwater) for bacterial infection for 5 days, 1 still has stringy poo. I am not exactly sure when the 1 started having normal poo, but the other is still stringy. They both look good, act normal, and eat great. I was doing 50% water changes every day since the bio filter was not established in the QT, lately I have been able to slow down on water changes since the filter is now established. What should I try next?? I really want to get them into display, but can't seem to cure the stringy poo. Any suggestions? Thanks

Your fish sound healthy to me. I probably wouldn't use any further medications to treat how their droppings look as long as they were otherwise healthy. I don't know about false percs but when I had FW, all the fish had stringy poop.
What comes in must come out. I would probably be focusing more on diet. What are you feeding them. I would try to change the diet and give them a more diversified diet. Just my opinion, - I don't really have any experience with this problem. :notsure:
