Can Plastic Decorations in a fish tank cause phosphates?

I personally wouldnt put plastic decorations in a saltwater tank. IMO that stuff is better of in freshwater tanks. However, its your tank so I cant tell you how to set it up. I would be careful with it though. If they are painted pieces it could leach toxins in the tank causing problems. Id be more worried about that then it causing a phosphate problem.

yeah i took it out tonight and put 7lbs of LR in its place.

it actually was pretty big lol maybe a foot long by 6 inches high...not weighin 7lbs but the gap it left in my tank was pretty big...i was meanin to get more lr neway so
