I have a fairly new 55 gallon saltwater. My nitrate were high & my fish guy said do a water change. So I DID. Got home this evening and 2 yellow tangs, 1 yellow eye tang, 3 damsels are DEAD.... I was going to move these to a 90 gallon soon. This 55 was set up in September of '04, we just started adding fish about 3 months ago. Damsels first. There is about 110 llbs. of live rock also. NOW MY NITRATES ARE HIGH AGAIN. ANY HELP OUT THERE??? Did I do too much at once? All of the other tests are OK, except nitrates.

What type of water did you use in the water change? How was it mixed? Did you check its pH, Salinity.. etc?
