Help, I think my clown is sick

i got a false perc clown on sunday. it looked pretty healthy but i am now noticing that is has a raised bump on its mouth lip. it doesn't look like ick. it is starting to breath harder. Ever since i got him he's been staying in one corner and swims only in that corner. what is this?
i tried to take pics but it always come sout blurry.

I had a problemw with my clown when I first bought him, anything around the gills as well as the mouth?

i think it might have a red spot around 1 of the gills but its more like in. i don't think that is anythign though. didn't look like disease, i know disease lol. i had a freshwater tank with so many problems. what did you do to fix the problem?

i know it was really hard for me to take a picture, you really cant see it in the picture. can fish cure themselves of diseases if there in the beginning stages?

I tried digging around in these forums and came up empty (go to Search in the upper tab bar and type "mouth sore"). There were several cases of Clowns with open or white sore but nothing definate...

Has your tank gone thru the cycle and if less than 3 weeks you should have a friend hold your clown until the cycle has been accomplished. Or low O2 in your tank. :notsure:

its my 5th week. my tank already cycled. and if it didn't wouldn't it show ammonia? how can you tell if you have low oxygen? i have 2 emporers and there creating tons of gas exchange. do you haev to do a water change to get more oxygen into the tank?
