Help I think my Coral Beauty has ICH

I am concerned my coral beauty might have ich.I have a 150g tank with a yellw tang,regal tang,2 4 stripe damsels,a lawnmower blenny,2 Occellaris clown fish,peppermint shrim,snails,1 hermit,2 emerald crabs and anemone.And of ccourse the coral beauty. I have only had the angelfish for less then a week.(yes she went straight into display,Lesson learned qt next time) Ok she sems ok but is covered in little white spots. i have read about two types of treatment,hyposalinity wixh I don't think I can do because of the inverts,the second copper based meds,again the inverts. How can I be sure its ICH? this is the first time we have had to deal with anything. I cannot post a picture because my camera is broken.Can someone please help me I am truly at a loss.Also I have no hospital tank set up.

can I use Chem-Marin Stop Parasites? It says its safe for all reeg inhabitiants.

Hello there. Well today, my coral beauty does have ich. I had to run out and get a QT tank. I can't treat my DT either. What I did was take water from the tank and put it in the qt tank along with plain RO water. Put the fish in the qt tank.
The first day, bring the salinity level down to 1.015 over the next 24 hours bring the level down to 1.009.
Watch the fish and after a few days if you see the ich is gone, SLOWLY bring your salinity level back up.
You will have to leave the fish in the qt tank for at least three weeks. Your DT water is now contaminated and it needs to have this disease die. No fish, no host - it will die.

so I have to remove all fish from dt? do I leave the inverts in there? I am not sure my fish will do well in a smaller tank,my yellow tankg likes his space and I am afraid moving him and my regal will cause too much stress.I am totally new to all this.This is our first outbreak.Is there no medication that can treat the tank?

I feel for your situation because we have been living through this entire situation ourselves the last few weeks. We have set up a QT and used hyposalinity. It seems to be working well. In your situation you may want to think about using a reef safe medication combined with fresh garlic. You should know that this will NOT eradicate the parasites from the tank, but it may allow them to live with it. Please read Beth's Common Treatments FAQ for information on garlic uses and a list of different reef safe medications, along with posts from people that have used each, so that you can make an informed decision. To completely remove the parasites from the tank, you will have to cycle a quarantine tank large enough for all of them. That is something that you should realy think about.

The fish remain in hyposalinity for three weeks AFTER the last sign of ich is gone. The display remains fish-less for six weeks.
