Wow I didnt think there was any that would be ok. Please tell me a few that would be ok to start dealing with before I get my halides!

well some corals line suncorals are non-photosynthetic, however, under the halides, they could die or not do too well.
if you are getting halides i would serously wait. keeping any corals under lighting that low could make them perminently loose a lot of color and in the end it will jsut be a big waste of money IMO.
i got some mushrooms from my LFS that were pretty brown and ugly, but i got them because they were inexpensive and it was my first coral that i was trying. When i got them home under my PCs they slowly gained color and it turns out, i bought 5 for 25 bucks on a rock.... they are selling frags of the same type of mushrooms under halides for around 20 bucks a polyp........ somethings like mushrooms will survive, but to tell you the truth, will look pretty ugly.
