Well never though i would have to move my sw tank but her i go. Have a small 37 gal. reef tank with 3 fish and some corals, have 15 lbs. of live rock. Would like suggestions on how to do this? Easy way ,hard way, any way. All suggestions will be appreciated. Also have a live sand bottom. Thank you ahead-of-time

Take everything out but the sand, store in a rubbermaid with powerheads going until the move, then everything back in. You can keep the sand as long as its pretty short term. It sounds daunting, but once you get started, it can be done. Just plan everything out carefully.

You can use rubbermaids as stated. However if there is going to be much exposure to the weather. And the weather aint very hospitible(cold, hot etc.) Then i would recomend usind ice chests. For the fish and the rock. Dont put the fish in the same conainer, whichever way you go, with the rock. There will be a lot of sloshing around and fish will get slammed up against the rock. Drill a couple small holes in the top of the cooler with the fish. This will let it breath. If it's going to be a very long time between tear down and set up, use a heater in the containers with the rock and fish. No need really for a powerhead when transporting the containers. Again, unless its a long time. Your gonna slosh them around quite a bit. If your just going to be a few hours or so, you could if you wanted, bag the fish and put them in a styrofoam cooler.
