help is tank to heavyyyy for floor

HI need help i wont to set up a 200 gal but i live in an apartment with 2"*10" floor joist will this be ok thanks john

If you on the second floor i would think it gonna be tooo heavy to take the chance unless they are steel beams, I wouldnt want to have it crush the neighbors below, ya know. If you really want to then talk to your land lord or manager to see if their acceptable and if they require special insurance. Better safe than sorry. ---- Bill

Living in an appartment is a tricky situation,,,You must realise that this is not your building...So anything that happens below,or around your appartment WILL be the aquariums falt..(I have a crack in my wall,my cealing is leaking,my toilet wont flush,,It must be that aquarium)Sounds crazy,but I bet it will happen...You would be better off in the long run to have a smaller tank till your living conditions are a bit more permanent.
