I have a led fixture that is about two years that came from Canda via a company that does not appear to exist anymore. The adapter randomly is not working and it appears it overheated as there is a syrupy substance in the adapter. The parts number does not produce anything nor has my extensive searching. Now, i know zip about electrical aspects so any suggestions are appreciated. Pics are attached. The two prong connector goes directly into the fixture and is wired into the adapter pack.
What are my options in your opinions? Should i pay somone to rewire or bite the bullet and buy a new fixuture. Now replacement fixture available so probablly have less than a week to replace.
