I've owned a couple volitans that have had their own little perks but this is the second dwarf fuzzy eyed lion thats doing the same thing to me. Someone please help!!!
I bought my first one same breed, same ---, same color, almost identical fish a while back during a different set up. He seemed fine at first then slowly started losing his color and turning white/clear. He didn't lose his appetite and my waters levels were and are now in this set up PRISTINE! Not to brag but I use filtered dechlorinated water that I pH myself with instant ocean salt and never accept anything less than perfect salt levels. On top of that I test my waters NO2, NO3, pH, KH, and GH constantly.
Now the same EXACT thing is happening and my quarantine tank is use. The last ime this happened we woke to him completely white and dead. The rest of the tank soon followed. Everything whitened and died. I don't wanna start from scatch again. PLEASE any info on this fish or pattern would be appreciated.
Is he more sensitive therefore something affects them first or is it the species or it's release of it's venom?
