HELP!!-Lionfish with jaw problem

I have a 6 inch V. lion (named Wayne) who appears to have a collapsed upper jaw. The pictures show the upper jaw resting on the lower, but the upper appears to not be attached to the head normally. Note the white area above the upper law and below the eyes. It appears to be connective tissue. The lion was fine and ate very well last Wednesday, but when I fed the lions today, it couldn't eat. It tried, but could not open its' mouth wide enough to get any food. I even shredded some krill to make the bites smaller, but to no avail. My other lion, Lola, is fine. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Actulely sorry, i reread that, I don't know what that could be. Mine only looks that way when he ate a huge piece of krill or something.
