Help me decide between 2 Fixtures

For my 38g tank. A Sunpod 150w MH fixture or the Sunpod (2)x150w MH fixture. Is the latter just overkill for my tank?

What are the dimensions of the tank? What types of coral do you plan on housing?

36" L x 12" W x 20" H
I guess the 20 inches deep is what we're looking at here.
We would like to put all types of coral, and a bubble tip anemone.

I'd go with the first. or better yet if you had a 1x250W, but 2x250W might be a bit much IMO.

All types of coral. Hard, soft, everything eventually.
Spider, the second fixture is 2 150w MH for a total of 300w. So it's 150w MH or 300w MH.

Just realized that the first fixture includes 2 96w actinics to go along with the 150w MH BUT, the fixture is too wide for my tank.
It would have to be the (2)x150w MH fixture.

Oops, I read it was 2x250

Have you thought about hanging the fixture instead of using the mounting legs?

I haven't. Would that be better for my tank? What is the advantage?
