Hi guys, I'm new to these forums but have been around the SW fishtank hobby for a few years.
I have a six month old aggressive 100 gallon FOWLR tank going and currently have an Australian Harlequin Tusk, Dogface puffer and four yellow-tail blue damsels in there.
They are all fairly small atm but I'm looking to add one or two more fish to finish the population.
I was thinking of adding a herbavore...possibly a foxface, a yellow tang or maybe an angel. I wanted to know what you guys thought about adding a Flame angel to the tank. It's pygmy and won't grow as big as the rest and was wondering if this will be an issue? If I had my way, I'd add a flame angel and a very small niger trigger last.
Is this a good idea? Does the flame angel size make a difference when getting along with the tusk and puffer and Niger?They will keep growing and he will stop. I suppose I could get a bigger angel but a smaller one would be better for my 100gal and the red really pops.
As you can probably tell I can't decide...I want a yellow tang, flame angel AND a niger trigger(I know triggers are risky). When I move to 180 I was thinking of a lionfish. LOL EVIL HOBBY THAT I'M ADDICTED TO!
Any ideas or experience with this combo? The dogface is more peaceful than my old stars and stripes for sure and he is still pretty small 3".
If you were me, what would you do? Part of me doesn't even want to chance the trigger addition.
