Well I saw this hanging out of one of the live rocks in my 75 reef one night and I can not figure out what it is. I'll do my best to describe it because the picture does not help a whole lot. The only part that I can really see is the soft black part that sticks out of the live rock. He seems to use it like an umbrella to cover the opening of the hole and protect himself. It has a white strip in the middle of the soft black part that has expelled I assume what is waste. I can also see what seem to be small black antennas sticking out from under the soft outside that seems to feel around. I have only seen a small glimpse of what is under the black part, but it seems to look kind of like a slug almost. I've tried to coax him out of the rock but he simply vanishes into the rock only to come out somewhere else later in the night. (I've only seen him at night). Any help would be much appreciated.
