Ive used kalkwasser and that works to, make it into like a paste where it barely comes out of the syringe and make sure there is no flow in the tank at the time and squirt him with it, he will die off in minutes because the kalk is so strong it will burn him.

read the instructions... just make sure you shake it up real good and i use the little green attachment that comes with it ... and just give it a little shot right in the mouth of it ... you dont have to do anything else and it doesnt take much

Super hot bioling water has worked for me when Ive had just a couple aiptasia. Might not be as good as Joes for a large outbreak.

I use lemon juice or peppermint shrimp. For lemon juice, just fill a syringe up with lemon juice, (real lemon concentrated juice) works best. The best syringe is an insulin type with a small 1" to 3/4" 27 ga needle. Just suck up about 1ml of lemon juice, position syringe over aip, and stick it. If it shrinks up and goes into the hole , just stick the needle down in and stab aorund and inject a nbit of lemon juice as you go. I know it can take a lot of lemon juice before any impact is made on the ph, and since its organic, the lemon juice does not last long nor does it harm anything else., I routinely inject aip near all kinds of corals and have never had a problem.B-Ionic 2 part also works fine. I fyu use this for dosing a tank, just fill a syringe with the part one component, and squirt it on and around the aip. Make sure filters are turned off as well a powerheads. The part #1 will linger and settle down on the aip, and in nno time it kills it. Then just continue on with other aip treatments until all of part 1 is used up and then allow to set for a few more minutes, re-establish filters and current flow with powerheads and add part two.

I currently use a product by Blue Life that seems to be working very well. I used it last week and as of today, tank is clear of aiptasia. I saw some little ones yesterday that I missed, they are gone too. Had some where it was hard to get to, but this stuff just filled in the crevices were they were and I don't think they'll be back either. Try it, you may like it, I know I do. Also, get some peppermint shrimp, if the fish you are keeping won't eat them, they will aid in control of aiptasia anenomes.
here's what you're looking for: Aiptasia Control
