I have a 50 gallon reef tank that has been running about 7 years. Only trouble is millions of small tube worms in the sand. No algae or nitrate problems. Tank just looks old & scratched.
Old man of this tank is a Pink Skunk and his anemone.
4 or 5 smaller peaceful fish. LR, mushrooms and soft corals.
Ordered a 70 gallon seamless bow front.
Looking for any tips on how to move my LR and fish over.
I plan on cleaning and dipping my LR to remove the tube worms , ect. Not sure if I will keep my live sand or replace.
LFS told me to replace but add a cup or 2 from old tank.
Won't that just reintroduce the worms and other undesirables?
Can I treat (DIP) my live sand along with the LR?
Should I add all my LR / Fish ??.
I have good lighting and filtration setup.
