Help - My Anemone is trying to commit suicide

He is new to the tank....about a week old. All has been well until today - he went between some rocks last night - I am assuming still finding his place in the world...this morning as he was waking up and comming out - he pulled a big rock on top of him.
Do I need to move the rock or will he work his way out of the mess he has made???? I am new to Anemones - so - I am clueless....

I was able to get the rock off of him....and - his clown fish bit me....little bugger....thank goodness he has little teeth - my clown is so protective of his friend.
As soon as I moved the rock the anemone looked like he sighed a breathe of relief....he is looking great now.....and he ate - that must have been a tough day for him.
